The vineyards are located all around the estate - the best locations are Schusterberg and Hichstermetzberg. Wolfgang Maitz is as well-known for his fully ripe, full-bodied wines as he is for integrated plant protection and reductive decomposition. The Traminer and the classic Sauvignon Blanc in particular are the top of the range each year.
