The vineyard area belonging to this family business is characterized by two soil types that complement each other well: the majority is heavy clay soil, best suited to producing rich red wines; the rest is soil over bed rock with lime content, which explains the other pillar of the firm - the white wines. No mineral manures are used in the green covered vineyards.
