Weingut Prager

Qualified engineer Franz Prager, a founding member and the first representative of the vintner association "Vinea Wachau" made this traditional firm one of the best in Wachau. Today it is run by his son-in-law, qualified engineer Anton Bodenstein with his wife Ilse. As well as the extraordinary Riesling the Prager wine estate has also made an excellent name for itself with its Eisweinen and Trockenbeerenauslesen, which are among the best in Austria. The dry Grünen Veltliner and Rieslinge continue of course to be the advertisements for the firm, which is also very successful in Germany. Awards: Countless top placings in national and international specialist magazines such as the "Wine Spectator" or Tanzer's "International Wine Cellar".
