Prädikatsweine are increasingly being produced. Just under a third of the grapes produced is sold in bottles, just under a third in casks and the remaining 40% is given (in grape form) to the wine-growers' cooperative. The vineyards are green covered in autumn and winter and fertilization takes the form of green manuring.
