The parents of the present manager were also involved in wine-growing, but at that point it was only one of several different branches of the business. Leo Gollmann himself graduated from the Silberberg School of Oenology and completed his wine-growing and making examinations. The firm was then switched over to fruit and wine-growing and oil pumpkins were planted on rest of the land.
