Klaus Gemeinde

Wine was grown in the community of Klaus 1000 years ago; since 1800, however, it has been in decline. To revitalize the viticulture industry in the course of a partnership with the provincial community of Donnerskirchen a communal vineyard was planted, in which a permanent mulch is used.
