Qualified master wine-grower and maker Karl Leitgeb took over this firm, which was established in 1892, from his father in 1990. The vineyards, where the vines are planted in a middle training system, have a natural green covering; the soil is closed for six months of the year. Horse manure is used to fertilize the vineyards.
