The best vines on the estate are situated on the southern slope of the Parndorfer Platte, where predominantly sandy tertiary material and gravel soil secure the harvest of Qualitätsweinen. Around a third of the vineyards are permanently green covered. Fertilizers are used every 6 years in accordance with prior soil analyses.
