The soil conditions around Thallern, like the top site Wiege which is rich in limestone, offer the best conditions for first-class Zierfander and Rotgipfler wines, but also for wines from Burgundy vines, especially the Pinot Noir, which should soon be inseparable with the Freigut Thallern.
