Franz Hirschmugl

To refer to Franz Hirschmugl as a doyen of the Sausal wine-growing area sounds almost like a cliché but it is nevertheless justified. His wine-guide alone, in which he shares his extensive knowledge about varieties of grape, vineyards and vintages in the Southern Styrian wine-growing countryside, reveals much about his love of wine-growing and of Sausal but also of his down-to-earth attitude.
