This firm's strengths are its fruity-dry, sharp, rather lighter than usual white wines, the red wines that are rich in tannin and in the case of the Blaufränkisch with the unmistakable earthy tone and in particular the red wines that are matured in the barrel. The firm is particularly proud of its Zagersdorfer Johanneswein which is produced in accordance with strict guidelines and made only in excellent years.
