Emil und Martina Bauer

Green cover is practiced throughout the year (although in winter it is sometimes restricted to alternate rows) in the vineyards of winegrower and maker Emil Bauer. His vines have crown or cordon cuttings with spurs and each alternate row is covered with straw every other year.
