With careful nurturing of the loess soil and precise knowledge of the favourable climate, it is possible to grow wine ecologically. Fostering the plant world (green manure and straw mulch) in and around the vineyards, where the vines display dual-cordon cutting, makes it possible to predominantly avoid using any artificial manures.
