Super Wines - Barone Rosso Platinum

30 years from the creation of Barone Rosso Paron Mario, Fantinel decided to crown it by producing a great Barone Rosso; the result of the 30 years of experience in the production of Friulian wines. Barone Rosso Platinum is the result of an extremely careful vinification process of the best Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Refosco grapes. The grapes, produced in extremely reduced quantities in selected vineyards to give one kg. of grapes per vine, come from a gravely and very harsh soil that gives absolutely excellent results. The lengthy maceration of the grapes that are hand-harvested, exceeds 20 days in French oak barrels. After racking, the cuvée is blended and aged for a further 12 months in French oak barriques.
