Merlot

A grape of French origin imported into Friuli, where it has found a second home, Merlot is one of the great Friulian wines.
A wine of character, refinement, Merlot is well adapted to the terrain and climate of Friuli, elevating it above other common wines of other regions. The vigorous vines and clone growing grapes give a strong wine full of earthy flavours.

Features

Ruby red in colour with purplish overtones when it ages, presenting a full fragrant bouquet with hints of raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry. A dry, full bodied wine with herbal overtones that ages well.
