Novello 2005

Vignoble Carone · Quebec · Rot

What is a Vino Novello? Novello, like Beaujolais Nouveau, is a light, fruity red wine which is bottled within the year of the harvest, but in practice is bottled within a few weeks. Vignoble Carone uses a field blend of Leon Millot, Lucy Kuhlman, Marachal Foch and Cabernet Severnyi in the making of Novello. The difference between our Novello and Beaujolais is that this wine retains some of the carbonation used to accelerate the fermentation process while the French Nouveau is traditionally flat. Novello has become increasingly popular year after year, especially among young people, thanks to its clear red color, fruity taste and low alcoholic content, only 11%. Serve slightly chilled with friends, salute!
