Cabernet Severnyi 2004

Vignoble Carone is the only commercial grower in Quebec of the Cabernet Severnyi grape. This wine from the 2004 vintage has an intense dark black color, staining the glass. This medium bodied wine has sweet fruit on the front palate and flavours of wild Raspberry and Elderberries with its slightly sharp mouth and cleansing finish that encourages another glassful. Good balance of vanilla and oak. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels.
