Die Blätter sind fünflappig und habem eine dunkelgrüne Farbe.
Die Nerven der Blätter sind zusätzlich beborstet.
Diese Sorte treibt sehr spät aus und die gute Holzreife bringen gute Frosthärte.
Die Weine sind fruchtig und sie sind meist ohne die Tiefe des Blauen Spätburgunders.
