Aleatico

Eine für Süßwein bekannte Rebe. Heute findet man sie hauptsächlich in der Toskana, in Latium sowie in Apulien. Daneben auch noch auf der Insel Elba sowie auf Korsika. Aber auch in Amerika: Chile, in Newsouthwales sowie in Kalifornien.

Ursprünglich stammt die Rebe aus dem Mittelmeerraum (Griechenland), wo sie bereits im Mittelalter Erwähnung fand.

Sie wächst relativ stark und gibt sehr aromatische und rubinrote Weine, mit einem leichten Muskat-Ton. Die Weine sind lange lagerfähig.

Well known from Sweet Wines. Can be found in Tuscany, Latium and Puglia. Also on the islands of Elba and Corsica. In the americas this grape can be found in Chile, Newsouthwales and California.
This grape originally comes from the Mediterranian area (Greece) where it was already know in the medeaval ages.
Is a relatively strong growing type, very aromatic, gives ruby red wines with a slight tone of muscat. Wines develop over a longer period of time.
